About us

CASA of Lowndes and Echols Counties, Inc. supports children who are in the foster care system by working diligently with trained, supervised volunteers who are focused on making placement decisions believed to be in their best interest.
Lend A Helping Hand
CASA volunteers provide an invaluable service by advocating for children who have come into care due to abuse or neglect.
Our Vision
The vision of CASA of Lowndes and Echols Counties, Inc., is to equip trained volunteers to “give a voice” to the children they serve by understanding their needs and ensuring their best interests are represented in court so they may have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential with the support of permanent connections to a family.

Our mission
The mission of CASA of Lowndes and Echols Counties, Inc., is deeply committed to its purpose of providing invaluable assistance to the court by mobilizing a network of thoroughly screened, extensively trained, and closely supervised volunteers. These individuals come from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, bringing a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences to their crucial advocacy role. Their primary focus is unwaveringly directed towards championing the best interests of abused and/or neglected children who find themselves entangled in dependency proceedings. The ultimate objective is to ensure that these vulnerable young individuals are placed in a safe, permanent, and nurturing home environment, one where they not only experience survival but also have the opportunity to truly thrive and flourish.
